28th November and Hochfügen is open. A week of cold temperatures meant a week of snowmaking. Fresh snow on Thursday falling on top of a good base lead to excellent conditions for the opening day in Hochfügen. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t play along, clouding over during the morning and snowing in the afternoon… Though, we can’t complain about more snow!
Friday was a better day for scenery.
After walking up we were able to make some turns in the fresh snow that had fallen on the smooth base, before the piste machine worked it in.
