We had heard that there were some lifts being built in Hochzillertal, so we went up to have a look…
The piste map shows two new chairlifts, one that starts just below Marendalm which goes almost to the top of piste Red 5. The other is to improve access to the Kristallhütte. The picture above is looking down onto Kristallhütte where you can not only see the top of the new chairlift but also the building work at the hut. Apparently, this will be a new panoramic wellness area with views to the Hintertux glacier.
